Autoclave Pressure Vessels: 4 Units
2026 · engineering

Directed the fabrication and installation of four horizontal autoclave pressure vessels through PT Witanabe, each at 25 tons. The scope covered detailed engineering review, material procurement to specification, full fabrication in our shop, and site installation with commissioning support.
Pressure vessel work is unforgiving. Every joint, every nozzle, every weld procedure is documented and traceable because the consequences of a failure at operating pressure are immediate and severe. ASME compliance is not a checkbox. It structures the entire fabrication sequence, from material certification through radiographic inspection to the final hydrostatic test. Four units running in parallel through the same shop meant that any deviation in procedure would propagate across all of them.
The installation phase added logistical weight. Moving four 25-ton vessels to a process site and setting them on their foundations requires coordination between transport, crane operators, and the civil works team, before any of the mechanical work begins. Getting all of that right is as much of the job as the fabrication itself.
What this proved: Large-scale pressure vessel fabrication requires strict ASME compliance and certified welding. There is no shortcut that doesn't show up in the hydrostatic test.
