Happy Play Indonesia Marketplace Build
2018 · software

Built Happy Play Indonesia's commercial presence across three major Indonesian marketplace platforms, Tokopedia, Shopee, and Lazada, starting from zero. This included storefront setup, product catalog structure, photography brief development, and pricing architecture across channels. The work wasn't a single launch; it was building the operational infrastructure for ongoing marketplace commerce.
The most significant contribution was introducing the company's first data analytics reporting. Before the engagement, sales data lived in separate platform dashboards with no unified view. I built a consolidated reporting layer that tracked channel performance, conversion patterns, and inventory movement across all three platforms. That reporting became the basis for restocking decisions and promotional planning.
Marketplace commerce in Indonesia moves fast. Platform algorithms, promotional calendars, and fee structures change regularly. The infrastructure I built was designed to be maintained, not just launched. The reporting layer was the part that made the difference between reacting to results and being able to plan ahead of them.
What this proved: Building a marketplace presence is not a listing task. It's a data problem, and the companies that win are the ones that instrument their operations from day one.
